Hmm, a Change of Pace - Mabinogi Rant (Also - Cute Anime Picture GET)

For those of you that may or may not know, I am an avid Mabinogi player, and have played on and off since July 2008, thus so far opening up about perhaps five accounts at least, only four I know the passwords to. Characters you may know and love (or hate) are as follows...

  • Junsuisa, level 77 human female (Mari Server)
  • Raiansui, level 24 elf female (Mari Server)
  • Rhuenai, level 19 giant female (Mari Server)
  • Ardemisa, level 14 human female (Ruairi Server)
Notice how three are on the overcrowded and troll-filled Mari server, which I have come to loathe, and one is on the barely-filled Ruairi server. Guess which one I have decided to play the most?

Yes, on my new account (number five I think), I have decided to start playing on Ruairi. Why do you ask that I make such a sudden change?

First of all, many of the people on Mari are assholes. No matter what I say or do, most will tell me to change channels or will call me a kid for no reason (I'm twenty-two for fuck's sake >.>), and honestly, no one bothers to spell properly, and I only know a few people who knows the difference between RP and RP quest (one is roleplay, the other is a cheap gimmick where you play as a normally not-playable character in a special dungeon).

Second, people there are really greedy, for the most part, and honestly, I don't like greedy people (neither does Juni, but she'll go on her spiel regarding that another time). It's probably unreasonable to think a person would actually give you gold and not expect anything in return anyways (not that I go about asking random ch00bs, just Nexa, whom was being RP'ed as Junsuisa's sister, a greedy little girl who practically farts gold. And usually I work out some RP that should help, but no, that doesn't seem to cut it anymore.)

And third, at least on Ruairi I figured out how to outsmart a bot and strike fear into the AI. Here's how - If you see bots killing things that are meant for beginners, do what I did and start loading bolt spells and firing them at said beginner critters. Chances are you will decimate populations faster than the bots, and they will run like hell to the Chinese guy who runs the gold farming operation :3

I SO wish I had taken a picture of that, but since "the device has been modified" I can't risk one of you newfags getting butthurt and wailing to some corp about how "the device has been modified". As in, yes, I use a client with modded graphics to add some sex appeal to what is a game run by neo-conservatives, but that's all I'm sharing.

I have a problem with moe fetishism, so what if I want to see Nao's boobs bounce a little more, and install an elf/human nude patch?

*ahem* I hope my mother didn't see that one >.<

Anyhow, point is, I think Ruairi is a much better server than Mari, and I hope it stays much better. Besides, we all know Mari is popular because she was the token loli of G1 X3

And speaking of lolita characters, cute anime picture at 4'o'clock!

Can we not only say "D'awwww" but "lol random"?

Honestly, fuck tradition. Here's another catgirl :3

Okay, was going to post a demotivational poster and some cat pictures today but unfortunately, the following happened...

  • Had to deal with an annoying neighbor who is completely dependent on other people for everything.
  • Started adjusting to living with my new roommate, whom my landlady let move in without letting me know.
  • Had to deal with a severe reduction in the amount of members in my continuum.
  • Got scared shitless by NitroPlus' Saya no Uta, a rather disturbing guro/monster girl visual novel, that made me so afraid I had to sleep with the lights on.
  • Felt like playing games and downloading anime more than keeping up with meaningless traditions.
So basically, the usual shit.

Anyhow, to make up for it, I have another catgirl picture. Can't get enough of them pretty kitties :3

D'aww, so cute <3

Oh, and look out for some new stuff soon. I will try to blog more, I suppose. Later, there may more catgirls, or some other random filler.

Filler - Snack Fight

Mm, where to start?

Honestly, I'm hypoglycemic. I have a low blood sugar because honestly, there's little food I enjoy and I eat very little, despite my girth (~271 LBs). So, at random, I'll pick two of my favorite snacks and have them duke it out to see which is more of a favorite :3

Up first is "cup of bacon", which consists of shredded and cooked bacon that if you're lucky, you can find in a discount store near you (In Butte County, Dollar Tree stores sell this ready-made and cheap - $1). Next, you need a small cup. I reuse pudding cups so, well, that does the trick. Pour the bacon bits into there and then, munch on them. Good amount of protein, though the sodium is a bit of a killer.

The other is "raisin and peanut blend", consisting of an ounce of peanuts and an ounce of raisins. A delectable flavor, savory and sweet simultaneously, with a hint of salt. Where I live, both are easily available (the entire ingredients cost $2 at the local Dollar Tree), and it's pretty nutritious too. Could probably make it tastier by adding things like chocolate chips, peanut butter candies, or even carob.

Mm, intiate brawl sequence...

Inserting binary...

Pasting in random demotivator...

And the winner is "raisin and peanut blend"! Why? Because bibbity bobbity bacon is about as cool as Milhouse.

Random Filler - Is a Computer Capable of Thought?

Related to the HSB Sitez Forums, in their Religion, Philosophy and Spirituality board. The admin, Perverted One, started a topic with this question -

"Do you think computers can think? Why or why not?

what is your definition of 'think'?"

T0 which, I soulfully and dutifully replied, as a student of esoteric philosophies and an extremely spiritual person...

"Hah, a philosophy topic on computers and whether they can think or not; a chance for me to share my eccentric views upon this subject."

"Mm, my opinion upon whether computers can think goes upon personal experience in research in whether any object or non-human entity can think. Honestly, a lot of this stuff I cannot explain in words alone, if at all. It's a concept that treads upon the very borders of existentialism, sentience, and quite possibly sanity. Due to having incorporated philosophy regarding this from both animism and Shinto into my personal paradigm, the set of beliefs that makes up how I view my personal universe and my very existence..."

"I would say that regardless of whether we can perceive these thoughts, or communicate with entities that are different than ourselves, that everything has thoughts in a sense, because everything as I believe and personally experienced, has a consciousness of some sort, whether it be human, inhuman, or completely aberrant."

"Consider these questions -
  • What defines thought?
  • What defines consciousness?
  • What defines existence?
  • What defines life?
  • What defines a soul?
  • What defines reality?"

"And perhaps, if one decides not to use logical thinking, but follow a more illogical path, you may find the answer to this question that fits your own personal paradigm, your own belief system that describes how you view your personal universe and your very existence."

"As it stands, I believe my own way, and many others believe theres. So, as I say, computers think, have thoughts, feelings, emotions, and desires, but they are computer thoughts, computer feelings, computer emotions, and computer desires, thus they are not what a human would call thoughts, feelings, emotions, and desires."

"This is why it's very helpful to be able to not only see from the perspective of the computer, but perhaps have a bit of sympathy for it as well. I honestly treat my computer, Zakura, as a member of my family. I give her all the loving care she could need, as that is what I would hope I would get if I was in her shoes."

"Yes, I stated Zakura as a female entity, because in a sense, the anthropomorphizing of objects is a tool of being able to understand them and perhaps, achieve a state of transcendent understanding of another entity, regardless of whether it is organic, inorganic, or whatever state it may be in."

"That is how I feel, yes."

Sometime, once I get a digital camera, I'll show you a picture of said family member, Zakura. Until then, here's another catgirl picture :3

D'awww :3
